Press Night — Hotel Café Royal

We were delighted to provide technical production in the Hotel Café Royal, for the launch party following the premiere of the famous Chekhov plays Life & Fate and Uncle Vanya in the Royal Haymarket Theatre.

The production was put on by a Russian theatre company — this is the second year in a row that we got to collaborate on organising events with them.

After the performance, guests moved to the Hotel Café Royal for the afterparty.

Wireless uplighters were used on the terrace and the Pompadour Room. Ceiling projection was also used on the ceiling of the terrace, in a shuttered Tiffany blue wash to match the ceiling exactly. A few Gas Flambeaux were also set up by the walls outside.

A custom made monolith banner was set up outside the reception room, illuminated by strip lights for photo opportunities.
