Recently, we had the chance to work with creative agency Electric Sunshine again — this time we provided production for a summer festival themed PR event they were organising for a corporate client.

We helped create a whimsical, magical land for guests to explore, with various corners of the venue featuring quirky design and delicious treats that took attendees on a round trip of the major food groups.

Our venue, The Music Room in Mayfair provided the perfect backdrop for the event — this versatile venue hosts a variety of events, from corporate parties to high fashion sample sales and shows. The room's nooks and crannies and coloumns acted as natural dividers for the various sectors of our event.

With bespoke briefs like this, which involve the creation of custom furniture pieces and such, we offer in-house 3D rendering services. Working with the end clients, the Electris Sunshine team had the chance to visualise the event in all its glory during the planning process and make adjustments ahead of time. For this particular event, the clients requested bespoke pop-up food stations and stalls from Electric Sunshine, which were completely branded to suit the event's colour scheme and overall theme.

We also helped create an indoor picnic area for guests to relax in, complete with a beautiful ribbon tent. We also provided spotlights for the artificial stream built by the Electric Sunshine team that lead guests to the picnic area. Seeing virtual designs such as these ones come to life in front of our eyes at an event is probably one of the most fun and exciting part of the event planning process.

Inside the ribbon tent, we put up some festoon lighting using paper lanters to create a cosy atmosphere, reminiscent of a balmy summer's eve.

The piece de resistance of Electric Sunshine's food stalls was without the doubt the 'Dessert Island' — complete with an uplit ice cream tricycle, unicorns and a magical cake tree, the team created something even Willy Wonka himself would be proud of. To add some finishing touches, we provided spotlights and built some custom pick 'n' mix and donut shelves, specifically for this brief.

As well as the festoon lighting, we provided various coloured uplighters and lights throughout the venue, as well as spotlights to illuminate the stunning artificial trees provided by Electric Sunshine that were placed around the room.

We also provided a full PA system and acoustic guitarist Peter Mayer who provided some light background music at the event.
