The New Light Duo are an acoustic duo that have performed together for over 15 years from pubs to clubs, arenas to tv studios across the UK and Worldwide. Previous clients include Royal Ascot, Silverstone, Butlins, Henley Royal Regatta, Avis, Australia Banks, Melia House Hotel, BBC, ITV, Crown Plaza, Nando's, Celebrity Soccer Six, Sandown Park Races, New Look, Aspers Casino, Intu Shopping Mall as well as many weddings, parties and corporate events.
The New Light Duo are an explosive acoustic duo, 2 Vocals and 2 Guitars, and they pride themselves on breaking the "norm" when it comes to acoustic duos, they mix up songs with the unexpected twist, and have a large catalogue of very popular covers from the 60’s to present day which is continually updated. They can provide an upbeat set to get everyone involved, up dancing, singing along, and enjoying themselves.
If maybe it’s a chilled vibe you’d prefer, they can do that too, background music that’s not in your face allowing people to mingle, but still enough to keep your feet tapping, perfect for a drinks reception.
The New Light Duo are no strangers to big crowds either, as they were privileged to be asked to perform in Sweden at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest behind Bonnie Tyler in front of 120 million viewers, and backed artists Julian Lennon, Sharon Corr and Peter Andre on tours across the UK.
